The Grove Road Surgery

Extended access

We can also offer appointments via our local Hub. The Hub is a group of GP Surgeries that have joined forces in order to offer appointments from Monday to Friday up to 8pm and also on Saturdays and Sundays.

What type of appointment can I get?

These are a mixture of pre-booked appointments with a doctor or nurse or healthcare assistant or pharmacist. For those with long term conditions such as Asthma, Diabetes etc.you may, depending on circumstances, be able to book a review appointment.

How do I book an appointment?

There are two ways to book an appointment. Either you all us at Grove Road on 020 8930 19767 and we can book an appointment for you or call 111 anytime (this is a free number) and they can do

Where is the Hub?

The Hub consists of several practices that have the facilities to offer these extra appointments and currently they are:-
Blithehale - East One Health - Harley Grove - Strouds Place – Gough Walk and more

How do I cancel an appointment at the Hub?

The Hub appointments are on a completely separate booking system from the usual GP appointment system. If you cannot keep the appointment for any reason you must call
0300 033 5000 – This is the only number that can cancel your appointment

What about continuity of care?

The Hub is an opportunity to try and help working people who may struggle with taking time out during the week to get medical help for more routine problems. It is also important not to undermine the continuity of care by your own GP practice and so there will be a limited number of conditions that we are able to book into these Hub appointments. This is an extra service that we are providing to help you get the care you need as quickly and easily as possible.
